The last little while

I haven't blogged since New Years so now whats up is hmmmm... One awesome event was my visit with mom and family. I got to fly to Calgary and see them for a short visit of only two days but it was so worth it. I got to hang out with all my siblings and even Anthony and his girlfriend came to see me while there. It was so special, mom and Simon had a nice seafood dinner for me and we played games all night and I even got Carmel and Leia to dance with me stupidly in the kitchen(what a blast)! My trip back was a nightmare, I got the Calgary airport (thanks for driving me Simon) but I had a hard time finding my checkin point, once I got there I was told I missed check in by 2 minutes. I was outraged and began crying because I didn't know what I was going to do. I spoke with a nice lady who got me on the next flight without charging me the transfer fee which was a miracle as I had no money left to spend. Anyways I got home safe after a VERY long day alone on the road.

On my birthday night Dan tried to get my friends together and they all were going to join us for a dance night on the town but as 7 pm rolled around, everyone cancelled on me. So we ended up going to friends house who were hosting a poker party and joined in there then Dan and I went alone to go dancing which was fun to say the least! Marieanne and Michelle had contacted Dan to come down for my bday but we had made plans so I'm sad they couldn't make it as everyone else cancelled.

We have since just been home bodies trying to save money as we have a big goal for savings this year and its never to early to start. Valentines day we stayed at home all day as I was sick and Dan had a rain day so that was really sweet because we got to curl up in each others arms all day.

In March Marieanne and Michelle and Bob are coming for a visit which I'm really excited about. Contact me soon ladies to let me know what you want to do and I'll get some plans rolling. Well thats it for now.
