Another day in May

It's been interesting living on lawn furniture in our living room, it's definately not comfortable sitting for any length of time. We should be getting our furniture in the next week or two so I'm very excited about that. Summer is definately around the corner, the weather is heating up nicely. Dan and I and some friends will be camping this coming weekend just for a day or so should be fun. Dad is planning a family event in July, hopefully everyone can make it. It'll be more of a camping trip, so tents and sleeping bags camp fire, swimming, horseshoes. It will be a blast. Hope to see you all there. Love you guys.

Mother's Day

I know this is late but.....

A mother knows
A mother cares
A mother sees
A mother stares
A mother senses when things are wrong
A mother fixes when you're not strong
A mother tries her best to be
A mother, a friend continually
What can a mother not do?
She loves us all through and through.
Take the time to love her back
make her a big syrup pancake stack.
Happy day for mom's all around
You know what to do and how it could go wrong
Step moms, moms in law and all other kinds
Take pride in your label it makes you strong.
On this day and for the rest of the year
Mom's be glad and rise up and cheer.
